Unit 2: Reflecting on Own Practice in Information, Advice or Guidance

Introducing Start, Stop. Continue

Jane Audio – Reflective Practice as part of the course

Start, Stop, Continue is a simple, fun and fast method of reflection. As part of this course we recommend reflecting at the beginning and end of each unit. Start, Stop, Continue only takes a few minutes to do. It can be also be used individually or as a group.

It uses 3 simple questions

  • What do I/we Start doing?
  • What so I/we Stop doing?
  • What do I/we Continue doing?

Watch the video to learn more about the start, stop, continue reflection tool.

Reflection is perhaps the most important steps in becoming self-directed, lifelong learners but it is not not effective without a clear commitment to change. At the end of your reflection you should identify at least one specific action you will do in the next week in order to continuously improve.

Use the start, stop, continue worksheet to action plan and meet your own personal development objectives. Upload the completed forms to the unit 2 assignment upload page.
