About unit two

This unit introduces learners to the underlying principles and values in information, advice or guidance.

It also enables you to understand the core policies relating to advice work as well as Equality and Diversity issues.

This unit has 4 learning outcomes.

  1. Understand the scope of advice and guidance in the context of own organisation.
  2. Demonstrate awareness of role within own organisation.
  3. Understand how to establish clients’ information, advice or guidance requirements.
  4. Understand the importance of relevant policies to the information, advice or guidance role.
