Communicating openly and honestly with children and young people about relationships and sex education is not always easy.

This course will develop your understanding of Relationships and Sex Education (RSE)  guidance and requirements. And increase your confidence and RSE delivery skills.

You will develop your own knowledge, techniques, and tools to confidently explore RSE and Health Education with children and young people.

You can take this self-directed learning course and study at your own pace. You are also encouraged to engage with other learners, share your ideas and join in with active discussions in the comments.

Course Requirements

The course is aimed at anyone working with children and young people. It is suitable for those working in schools and in a community and youth work setting.

This includes; Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Support Workers in Schools, Youth Workers, Social Work, Community Development and Volunteers.

There are no prior requirements required to complete this course.

  2. Reflect upon and develop your skills to confidently deliver effective RSE.
  3. Discuss helpful approaches, tools and techniques which may be appropriate for the delivery of RSE and Health Education
